What Really Illustrates Your Character?

Character is what you are willing to do when the spotlight has been turned off, the applause has died down, and no one is around to give you credit.

Character is a good word. As a noun it is neutral, a character in a play could be anything the writer needs to advance his plots. We are the character that we wish to portray; depending, of course, on how well we play it. We are often seen by others as a different character than the one we think the others see. Then we also change our character like a suit of clothes to fit our needs. I think we are people of character only when we can see the person that we really are.
