About Love
If I can speak all the languages on earth and in heaven, but I have no love, I am just a noisy brass instrument, a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy, and can understand every mystery, and if I know all that there is to know; if I have so much faith that I can remove tremendous obstacles, but I have no love, I am nothing.
Even if I give everything I own to feed the poor, or sacrifice my own life in fire, if I have no love, there is no merit in what I have done.
… Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will fail; where there are many languages, they will cease; where there is knowledge, it will vanish …
But faith, hope, and love will endure forever, and the greatest of the three is love.
